Mary’s Turkeys is proud to be family owned and operated since 1954. Mary's sons, David and Ben Pitman, are third-generation Pitman farmers who lead the company today. David and Ben have been taught by their father, Rick, who learned from his father, Don, about the importance of animal husbandry and the responsibility to ensure the welfare of animals.

Today, Mary's formula for good nutrition is simple. When she and her family eat food that is grown as nature intended, it makes everyone feel good and keeps them healthy.

The Pitman Family has been raising turkeys for over 60 years. They have six turkey ranches and opened their own processing plant in August 2003. Because they are a small family-owned business, they are able to manage and control the health and quality of their turkeys from start to finish.

Mary’s Free-Range Turkeys grow naturally with plenty of open space on a ranch. These turkeys are raised in a humane manner and are allowed to roam in a stress-free environment that is four times the size of the average commercial ranch. Because of cleaner living quarters, Mary's turkeys taste better and are healthier and happier animals.

Mary's Certified Organic turkeys are an additional step up the ladder in humane farming practices. These Turkeys have freedom to move about and receive a premium diet of organic ingredients. Certified organic feeds must be certified by the USDA, and everything that goes into them must be certified as well.
