Raw Milk Overnight Oaties

This is a nutrient packed meal or snack that easily fits into your busy morning routine. We love the benefits of raw milk, but for people who are dairy free, substitute your favorite alternative milk/yogurt. This is a great base recipe to riff off of, we hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed until creamy
  • 1 generous pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Mash with a fork until the ingredients are a creamy consistency. Small pieces of banana are fine.
  • 350g yogurt of your choice
  • 800g Doubletree raw milk
  • 30g freshly ground flaxseed
  • 90g hemp hearts
  • 50g chia seeds
  • 1 generous pinch of sea salt
  • 140g nut butter of your choice, optional
  • 40g maple syrup, adjust to your preference
  • 10g cinnamon, adjust to your preference
  • 400g regular rolled oats, reserved for final step

Instructions

  1. Mix the above ingredients until well combined and the yogurt is completely smooth.
  2. Add mashed banana mixture and mix to combine. Add 400g regular rolled oats and mix thoroughly. The mixture should be liquid consistency and pour fairly easily into jars.
  3. Add more milk or water to adjust as necessary. Best results if left to completely hydrate overnight, otherwise allow a minimum of 4 hours until serving.
  4. Top with your favorite fruit or chopped nuts for some crunchy texture. Serve chilled or gently warmed.
